Overview

HammerAI is a platform for immersive roleplaying, image generation, and interactive stories powered by Large Language Models (LLMs) and image generation models.

HammerAI is unique because:

  • It lets you run LLMs locally on your computer using Ollama in the desktop app, or WebLLM in the web app. This means your messages and stories never leave your computer.
  • It also lets you run LLMs using our cloud-hosted servers if you don't have a powerful enough computer, or are on mobile.
  • It saves all data locally on your device. This ensures complete privacy, enhanced security, and an uninterrupted experience without dependence on cloud availability.
  • There is no login - that's how serious we are about your privacy.

Web App

HammerAI Web supports all the features of our Desktop App, but from the convenience of your browser. The UI supports both desktop and mobile devices, so you can easily switch between the two.

If you want to run LLMs locally using the Web App, you must use a WebGPU compatible browser, such Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, or Opera.

Desktop Version

HammerAI Desktop is a zero-setup desktop app that runs entirely on your computer using large language models (LLMs) powered by your own hardware. Because everything happens locally, your data stays private—no external servers, no filters, and no third-party access. Your conversations and AI experience are fully under your control.

HammerAI Desktop is available for:

HammerAI Desktop offers multilingual support, allowing users to select their preferred language within the Menu Sidebar. This feature ensures a personalized and accessible experience for users across different regions and linguistic backgrounds. By adjusting the language setting, users can navigate the application in their preferred language, enhancing usability and accessibility. Currently, HammerAI supports the following languages:

Users may request additional language support through the "feature-requests" section on the HammerAI Discord server if a desired language is not listed. The development team will review requests and expand language options based on demand and feasibility.
