Image Generation

HammerAI offers an integrated image generation feature that allows users to create AI-generated images. This functionality enables users to generate character portraits, story illustrations, or custom visuals based on text descriptions. The system currently supports cloud-based image generation, with local generation planned for a future update.

HammerAI has two ways of generating images:

  1. Generating standalone images
  2. Generating images within a chat

To generate images within a chat, just click the "Image" button.

Creating Standalone Images

You can generate standalone images at https://www.hammerai.com/create-image. This page lets you control the prompt, seed, and aspect ratio.

The Prompt

The Prompt field is where you describe the image you want to generate. This description should be as detailed as possible, specifying elements such as character appearance, environment, lighting, and artistic style. The AI will interpret the text and generate an image accordingly.

For example: 

A futuristic cyberpunk android woman with a fit and toned physique. She has long blonde hair styled in a messy high bun with a few loose strands framing her face. Her striking face features high cheekbones, full lips, and glowing blue eyes, enhanced with cybernetic augmentations like glowing circuit-like markings on her skin. She wears a form-fitting black bodysuit with metallic plating, standing in a neon-lit cityscape at night.
The Seed

The Seed field controls the randomization aspect of image generation. By default, every image is generated with a random seed, meaning that even with the same prompt, the results will vary slightly each time. However, if you want consistent results, you can set a specific seed value. This ensures that future generations using the same seed and prompt will produce similar outputs. To refresh and generate a new seed, click the refresh icon next to the Seed field.

The Aspect Ratio

The Aspect Ratio dropdown determines the dimensions of the generated image. Users can select from multiple predefined aspect ratios, such as:

  • Desktop (16:9) – Ideal for widescreen formats.
  • Portrait (9:16) – Best for vertical images, such as character portraits.
  • Square (1:1) – Suitable for balanced compositions, including avatars and icons.

Choosing the correct aspect ratio ensures the generated image fits your intended purpose.

Troubleshooting & Best Practices

If your generated image does not match your expectations, consider refining the prompt with more precise details. Avoid vague or overly complex descriptions, as AI models work best with structured, clear instructions. Experimenting with different models and seed values can help achieve the desired result.

If image generation is not working, ensure you have the appropriate subscription plan for cloud-based generation. If you encounter persistent issues, refer to the FAQ or HammerAI’s Discord server for assistance.
